The Cincinnati Art Museum is pleased to announce that it has received a generous gift from the Rookwood Pottery Company.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is pleased to announce that it has received a generous gift from the Rookwood Pottery Company. The gift from Rookwood proprietors Marilyn and Martin Wade consists of award certificates, corporate records, minutes of the Board of Directors, and eight shape books. Shape books are books of blank paper with vase shapes drawn on the pages; each shape has a number.

The Collections: 6000 Years of Art, PHASE II opening

The Cincinnati Art Museum is excited to announce that Phase II of the popular permanent exhibition "The Collections: 6000 Years of Art" will be on view beginning November 17, 2012. The Cincinnati Art Museum opened Phase I of The Collections: 6000 Years of Art in December 2011, displaying nearly two thousand pieces drawn from the Art Museum's collection of more than sixty thousand objects.
