Dear Friends,

Please come and join me for a one night exhibition of recent paintings this coming Friday the 13th from 6-9pm at 2807 Woodburn ave. in historic East Walnut Hills. The show is entitled “Uncertain Boundaries”, and many of the works in the show grapple with the border between abstraction and illusion. The paintings find a middle ground that reminds us of our tangible reality while hinting at the mystery and spiritual power of the everyday.

This brief show will allow me to exhibit some works that I would not normally show in a formal gallery setting. in this case, many of the works are small paintings depicting the doorway leading from my studio into the hallway. The creation of the works serves as a meditation for me with the focal point being a small opening of space. I am excited to share this work with you and to discuss it in person. In addition, I will have other works available for perusal that have never been shown. Please come and bring some friends. Light refreshments will be served, and Manifest Gallery down the street will be opening a show concurrently.
